Keeping the tracks clean is a full time job. This train 'cleans' the track using abrasive pads that spin effectively grinding the dirt away. For us it's a 'Rail Grinder'.

This is showing the layout of the tracks before the scenery. This crossover allows us varity in which way the train is going to go. We usually run in the same directions, but this allows access to the storage tracks below. See picture "tb9.jpg" for an after shot.
